Ready For Your Close Up?

Did the title make you cringe a little bit? Because very few of us are naturals on camera, and some of us even go out of our way to hide from the photographer at family events.

And the first time you try to make a video? When that red light comes on – yikes!

Everyone starts stumbling over their words, forgetting what they wanted to say and grimacing as they bumble through it. And even worse, when we watch it back, we hate the way we look, we hate the way we sound and we absolutely think we could do it so much better. And then we never get around to doing it again!

Promotional Video Marketing is one of the top forms of online mass communication, and we can all benefit from using it. There’s an instant connection with the person looking for your service, and you can demonstrate your skills and ability to do the job they need.

All businesses, large and small, are jumping on board the video revolution; after all it communicates so directly what you are good at, and increases your professional image and approval rating. Remember, people always believe what they see on TV!

“By 2017, video will account for 69% of all consumer internet traffic,
(according to Cisco). Video on demand traffic alone will have almost trebled.
With online video quickly becoming a key means for people to satisfy their information
and entertainment needs, small businesses that fail to include it in their
internet marketing strategies will do so at their peril.

Let’s then agree that you need a promotional video for your business, and the next question is; how do you make a great promotional for your business or organization?

Video production can appear complicated, and scary. However with expert guides, it can be made much easier.

There are two parts to making video production easy and miword is delighted to team up with Fiona Pagett to deliver both aspects of the process to you in a unique, powerful and fun training.

Following a successful career as a broadcast journalist, Fiona directed her own company, Web Video Communications for 7 years with a wide range of clients and included a series of crisis communication videos filmed with senior hotel managers in London, Manchester and Dubai.
