4 Absolutely Key Factors To Guarantee Your Biggest Business Successes

business-success-istock_000010163733xsmallOne of my friends made me laugh the other day.

“I loved the book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker.’ I said. ‘Have you read it?”

“If it’s got the word ‘Secret’ or ‘Millionaire’ in the title I’ve read it”, he replied.

I’ve never thought about it before, but those words are used so often in business and personal development book titles, they must attract a big audience. And that made me wonder why so many of us are drawn to those two words? Is it because:

  • Secret’ suggests a there’s a simple solution to our problems, one we didn’t have before and that explains why we’ve been struggling. And once we know it, everything will be easy, and we’ll be in an exclusive club of only those people who know the ‘secret’.
  • Millionaire’ suggests an escape from the existence of paying bills, eliminating debt and fulfilling financial obligations, in other words: freedom.

For us business owners, our work is both a means of survival and fulfillment. A way to earn a living and build a great life for ourselves.

If we can find a simple way to do that that we haven’t known about before(a secret) and it brings us an abundance of money (becoming a millionaire) then there’s a big attraction.

Then I thought about what really are the core needs for business success and following some doodles, mindmaps and colouring, I came up with the ‘miworld core four’, these are the miworld ‘Secrets’ to a ‘Millionaire’ life

  1. A Solution
Your business is to provide a solution to their problem. In true reciprocity, the better your ability to exchange their problem for something that will simplify their lives, the bigger the success of your business
  2. An Exit Strategy
    1. Start with a clear definition of where you want to end up!
      • Sell it – your focus becomes building the business so it can run without you being there,
      • Franchise it – build a scalable model that can be replicated in different areas of the world.
      • Float it – make it attractive to investors on the stockmarket
      • Keep it – Stay working in it in the role of your choice.
  3. A System
    1. Regardless of you chosen exit strategy, your business should be a self contained entity. In essence a business is a system that works regardless of who works in it, and to build a successful business, you need to build a successful system that works without you in it.
  4. A Passion
    1. Your vision must have great value for you, enough that you will jump out of bed on a Monday morning with fire in your belly and the passion to do what you need to do. People buy people so the more enthusiastic you are about your business, the more likely you are to engage with your people, increase your client base and grow your business.

If you’re like me, you set up in business to enhance the quality of your life and those around you and growing your business is the perfect way to do that.

It’s your drive and passion that will keep you going through the tougher times while we learn, grow and face the challenges that the business world throws at us along the way.

And there’s always ways to make it easier. Read books by people who’ve done what you want to do in business, model their systems, copy their solutions and apply them to your business. Or hire me and I’ll work with you to do just that.
